Sean T. Ward is a former U.S. Marine who proudly represents the film Was Once a Hero, a poignant portrayal of a veteran grappling with the invisible scars of combat, including traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He believes the film authentically captures the challenges faced by those who have been injured in the line of duty, highlighting the importance of supporting veterans as they navigate their recovery. Through his involvement with the film, Ward seeks to raise awareness and foster a greater understanding of the sacrifices made by service members, emphasizing the need for continued support and recognition.

The Veterans Council of Collier County is the umbrella organization of the 20 veterans groups that exist in Collier County, Florida.
The Veterans Council is comprised of representatives from each group and meets the 3rd Thursday of each month.
We bring all groups together for networking and fellowship in an otherwise fragmented community. We each have our allegiances, but are fighting the same battle. United we stand.
